Guide
Magnetic window fly screens: easy to look after and built to last
The magnetic window screen range is designed to be easy to fit. It keeps out mosquitoes, flies, wasps, midges and other flying insects, at home or at work.
A simple answer to flies and insects
Magnetic screens have a flexible edge: fold a corner back to pass something through and the mesh settles back into place. Fresh air comes in and insects, moths and flies stay out.
A screen you fit yourself does not block the view or the daylight. It earns its place in the warm months, when you want the windows open.
Your kit is ready to fit
Measure your window and order the size that covers it. We suggest ordering a little bigger so you can trim the mesh to the right size as you fit it.
The kit needs no screws or nails. It comes with a white, brown or black frame, for windows up to 2000 mm x 2000 mm.
Invisible barriers: choosing a supplier
Magnetic screens fix to windows and doors with magnetic strips. Unlike traditional screens they go on and come off easily, which makes them practical for renters or for anyone who wants something non-permanent.
When you choose a supplier, look at the materials, what other customers say, and the service: a team that answers your measuring questions before you order saves you a return.
What next?
As homes get more connected, it is easy to picture screens that open and close with the air quality or the weather. For now, a good magnetic screen is still the simplest way to keep a window open without the insects.
